Chicken Satay Canapés with Quail Egg
Celebrating the end of fasting month cook something to share with your family this Hari Raya Chicken Satay Canapés with Quail Egg using Dasoon Cooked Quail Eggs! You might not know that Quail Egg is a great source of nutrients (vitamins, mineraux and antioxidants) and can strengthen our immune system. Although it’s smaller in size, Quail Egg is more nutrition dense than chicken eggs so it’s highly suitable for children and adults with smaller appetites.
Ingredients:
Dasoon Cooked Quail Eggs
Smart Choice – Sliced Bread
Naturel – Reduced Fat Spread butter
Chicken Thigh cubes (boneless & skinless)
Toothpick
Chicken Satay Marinade:
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2-3 stalks lemongrass (white parts only)
2 cloves garlic (peeled)
6 small shallots (peeled)
3 tbsp Soy sauce manis
3 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tbsp honey
Optional:
1/2 tablespoon salt (to taste)
1 tsp chilli powder
Instructions:
Chicken Satay:
1. Blend all the marinade ingredients (add abit of water if necessary)
2. Combine the blended marinade herbs + Chicken meat
3. Marinate overnight in fridge
4. When ready to cook, take out from fridge
5. Turn on @iuiga.official 3.5L Air Fryer, mode set to 180 degrees, open the basket and place the Marinated Chicken in, cook for 8 mins, (set aside)

Toasted Bread:
1.Take a piece of bread and cut to round shape (if you don’t have round cutter, you may use any bottle with round neck )
2.Spread butter on top of each bread
3.Cook Air Fry 180 deg for 5 mins (set aside)

Dasoon Cooked Quail Eggs:
1.Cut Open the pack and drain the water
2.It’s already cooked and ready to eat, so convenient!
3.Cut each quail eggs to half
4.(Set aside)

Assembling:
Thread half quail egg, Chicken satay & toasted bread (use toothpick to secure). Plate it and Done!!! Ready to serve! Bon Appetite!
